The wedding was held at Silo Event Center in Tulsa. It was our first time to be there and was pleasantly surprised how pretty it was.

While we were waiting for the ceremony to start, I asked Steve how he was feeling. He said he was very ready and can’t wait to see Julie march down the aisle.

When Qara was a month old and just got out of the hospital, she looked so tiny and fragile that I refused to hold her.  A year and two months later, she has turned into this   curious  and  giggly little energizer bunny that is such a joy to be around with.

This photo shoot was a short one but it reverberated of Qara’s laughter and the very palpable love that these three generations of ladies shared.

They took us to their family’s favorite spot in Huntington Beach. It was a day filled with laughter, stories and , hopefully, captured moments.

Mauel and Sassy, thank you for the wonderful afternoon with your family. Can’t wait to spend time with you guys again soon.

Whenever I spend time with Mario and Rhanee, it seems there isn’t enough time. Maybe because  I love the feeling of the calmness and warmth their family seems to radiate. I love the gentleness of their voices when they speak to each other. I love how the two kids adore each other. I especially love the beautiful transformation motherhood has done to my friend.

I really , really love doing engagement sessions. It gives me a chance to get to know the couple more and challenges me to document their love. Oftentimes, while I’m hiding behind my camera, I feel all warm and fuzzy because nothing is as heartwarming as witnessingtwo people in love with each other.

This session also holds a special place in my heart because this is the first one that features a dog. Everybody, meet Quincy – quite possibly one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met.

A simple tip  for those who want to take pictures of the sweet pup in the future, just say “banana” and he will look your way.

Huge kudos to Julie for scouting the locations. This old car lot has got to be one of my favorites.

The day was gloomy and dreary but that didn’t dampen Blake and Melia’s spirits.. They didn’t have to pose . They were so cute being themselves that I just kept on clicking my camera and I got to capture how they made each other laugh so easily . I absolutely love them together.

If there’s one thing that I would always remember during Nick and Whitney’s wedding, it would be the sound of laughter.  I was particulary taken at how excited they were to get married to their best friends, and start new adventures together.

Nick and Whitney, thank you so much for making us a part of your wedding. It was so nice to feel loved and appreciated. You guys are blessed to have found each other and to be surrounded with an amazing family and wonderful friends. 

I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this dress. It’s very elegant and it has pockets!

When I didn’t think I couldn’t love this girl’s style any better, she wears this very cute sandals on her wedding day. Love her now.

I have to say that we were giggling and “awwww-ing” during their first look. I can still remember Nick saying, ” I can hear her now. Can I look now? Can I look now?”

A little over two years ago, Seth and Grisel exchanged their “I Do’s” in Laguna Beach.  The ceremony was intimate and just perfect.

Wishing them both many more beautiful tomorrows with each other.
